@kwilder: I built the bike in my living room with parts supplied by veteran organizations and some amazing MTB product companies. I had an epic battle with suicide and my main purpose was to just bring awareness to the issues. The bike design just happened as I went along. So many veterans stepped up to make this bike happen and I built it in their honor and the honor of all of those fighting everyday mentally and physically in addition to those whom have fallen.
