Santa Cruz 27.5" Heckler R Build-Lots of Upgrades

$2200 USD
This is a 2015 Santa Cruz 27.5" Heckler R build in size Medium (17"). It was ridden for about half a season from late last summer into the fall, so it's still in extremely good condition. This bike has a full 150mm of suspension travel and is intended for hard trail and All-Mountain use. The tried and true single pivot rear suspension design is extremely durable, predictable, and easy to maintain. Retail price new is $2,500 and I have over $1,500 invested in aftermarket upgrades. It has been converted to a 1x10 setup using a Raceface 30T narrow wide chainring. Also includes major upgrades to the rear shock, bars/stem/grips, pedals, and a Rockshox Reverb dropper post. This is hands down my favorite bike I have owned but we are moving to Houston in a few months and I will not have any use for it there. This bike is ready to go and doesn't need anything at all, it's in the 28lb range which is ridiculous for an aluminum framed 6" travel AM bike. Asking $2,200 and firm on price at this point so please do not send low-ball offers. Feel free to contact me at 540-two seven zero-9328, text preferred. I am located in Elizabethtown, KY and can also email high resolution pictures on request. Below is a list of the components and upgrades. Frame: Aluminum. Suspension Design: Single Pivot. Rear Shock: Rockshox Monarch Plus RC3 Debonair 150mm travel ($400 upgrade). Front Fork: Rockshox Pike RC 150 Solo Air. Headset: Cane Creek 10 Tapered. Shifters: Shimano SLX. Front Derailleur: N/A. Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT. Pedals: Canfield Brother Crampon Ultimate Flat Pedals ($150 upgrade). Crankset: SRAM XO Carbon Fiber Cranks ($300 upgrade). Chainring: Raceface Narrow Wide 30T single chainring ($40 upgrade). Bottom Bracket: SRAM GXP threaded. Cassette: 10-speed Shimano SLX 11 to 36. Chain: Shimano XT ($20 upgrade). Brakes: Shimano Deore M615. Rotors: 180mm Shimano RT66 Front, 160mm Shimano RT66 Rear. Handlebar: Renthal Fatbar Lite Carbon, 740mm Wide ($150 upgrade). Stem: Renthal Apex 40mm Stem ($100 upgrade). Grips: Renthal Kevlar Lock-on grips ($25 upgrade). Saddle: WTB Silverado Pro ($90 upgrade), will also include the stock WTB Volt saddle. Seatpost: Rockshox Reverb dropper w/ 100mm travel ($300 upgrade). Wheelset: WTB STi23 TCS. Hubs: SRAM MTH 716 and 746. Tires: Maxxis High Roller 2 EXO, 2.3", tubeless setup. Airborne Hobgoblin XO FS - Medium

$2000 USD
This is the XO build Airborne Hobgoblin in matte midnight black, frame is a 17" (size medium) and should be suitable for most riders 5'6" to 5'10". The frame is made from hydroformed double-butted 7000 series aluminum. It has a tapered headtube for added front end stiffness, a Rockshox Reba RLT 100mm fork with 15mm maxle, and a Rockshox Monarch RL shock with 100mm of travel in the rear. The wheels are Sun Ringle Black Flag Pro rims laced to Sun Ringle Black Flag Pro hubs with Wheelsmith double butted spokes. This wheelset is also incredibly light and strong. The front tire has been upgraded to a 2.35" Maxxis Ikon with EXO sidewalls, the rear tire is a 2.2" Maxxis Ikon. Both tires have been converted to tubeless. The SRAM XO drivetrain has been converted to a 1x10 setup using a 32 tooth Race Face Narrow Wide single chainring up front. This eliminates the need for a front derailleur, shifter, and cable, cutting down on weight and simplifying the drivetrain as a whole. The crank has also been changed to a brand new SRAM S1000 crankset. Shifting is controlled by a SRAM XO 10-speed trigger shifter coupled to a SRAM XO rear derailleur. The brakeset has been upgraded to a complete set of Elixir 7 Trail brakes, SRAM's newest 4 piston brake design intended for cross country/trail use. The front rotor is 180mm and the rear is 160mm. Forget everything you've ever heard about Elixir brakes until you try these. The cockpit is an Easton EC 70 flat wide carbon fiber bar (720mm wide), Race Face Ride stem (60mm), Renthal Kevlar lock on grips, FSA SL-K carbon fiber seat post, and Selle San Marco Ponza Power saddle. The pedals currently installed are Shimano XT clipless, but I can replace those with a near new set of Wellgo MG-1 platform pedals if you don't want clipless pedals. Also included with the bike is a spare 2.2" Maxxis Ikon tire, 29er tubes (in case you ever want to go tubed again), a spare rear derailleur hanger, a brand new Charge Spoon Saddle, and three different size medium helmets to choose from (Fox Flux, Kali Amara, Kali Chakra). If it fits and you want it, I have an Airborne Bicycles long sleeve race jersey in size medium/small. I also have a FSA SL-K carbon fiber stem in 90mm I can put on if you prefer a slightly longer stem. Serious buyers only please. I will consider all reasonable offers but the listed asking price is already a crazy deal for this bike. Text or email for higher resolution pictures or if you have questions.
