[UPDATED] U23 XCO Results & Overall Standings from the Mairiporã XC World Cup 2024
@Grady-Harris: was just watching some NICA kids doing massive whips and t-bogs and nack nacks. The rule is to help the racers remember that today is a race, probably. Tomorrow and every other ride is slope style. If the kids had their choice, every lap would have a 30’ double, road gap, and DJ section. Hmmm

[UPDATED] Final Elite XC Results & Overall Standings from the Mairiporã XC World Cup 2024
Ever is always hard, but yeah, good day. Add in Riley Amos winning the U23 and it’s a solid result, and an especially proud day for the citizens of a small rail road town in the middle of nowheresville. Must be something about the residual uranium in the water. Or that the children are delivered directly from the womb to a bicycle.

Pinkbike Poll: Center Lock or 6-Bolt Brake Rotor Mounting?
I’ve spent more time this week reading comments about Center Lock vs 6 bolt rotors that I will spend in the garage dealing with brake rotors in the next decade. This is the epitome on pick a _____ and be a d about it.

Review: Logos Eudae 29 HD Carbon Wheels
@jgreermalkin: any chance I can get to use my hypercracker cassette tool. Every bicycle tourer in the 90s had one. Still works on Eagle, but sadly, not with most modern frames. http://pardo.net/bike/pic/fail-029/

Feedback Sports Celebrates 20 Year Anniversary with Limited Edition Pro Mechanic Repair Stand
I got the Feedback 1 sided wheel trueing stand. I’ve built countless wheels on it. But tbh, I wish I had gotten a 2 sided stand like the Park. Since I own this one, I’ll never buy another one. But it’s a PITA to use for my needs. It’s fine as a maintenance item (which is what it’s designed for) not ideal for building wheels.

Pinkbike Poll: What's the Duration of Your Average Weekend Ride?
@rickybobby19: I have an older friend who used to pace me on 6-7000’ days on his ebike when I was training for a mega ride. It was super fun to get to ride with him on these days. Then one day I got sick and never got better. Now I hope to keep up with him on a MTB with me on an ebike. Things change.

Pinkbike Poll: What's the Duration of Your Average Weekend Ride?
@mmarkey21: roads and chairlifts have unfathomablely more impact on the environment and the aesthetic of the mountains than e-bikes ever will. These things are not benign.

Pinkbike Poll: What's the Duration of Your Average Weekend Ride?
@dododuzzi: one day, likely with very little notice, you wake up and realize that if you’re ever going to ride trail again on 2 wheels, it will have to be on an ebike.

Review: Raaw Madonna V3 - Yes, It's Still Great
As an older guy with limited neck range, I’m a fan of high stack. Not as bad as my friend who runs 80mm bars and max stack spacers. But I like my bars high, cause I like to see where I’m going, even on my road bike.

Review: Raaw Madonna V3 - Yes, It's Still Great
Inflation is a bitch. For everyone. Specialized Enduros are still on sale, I believe. Which is better value is up to the consumer.
