Ribbesford Bike Bike park has been around for along time and has been enjoyed over the years by countless rider. It is based just outside of Bewdley in thew middle of the west midlands about 30 minutes from worcerster.
Recently the popularty of the park has increased since the introduction of the new dig teams and closer working with the forestry comision which has let to lots of changes over the last 3 years and much more fun for the riders. That is why back in feb of this year we were concerned when the forestry came to us and said that the trees in the area were going to be thinned out because of a diseases that is spreading thought the woodland which thives in dry damp condition, so with the thinning will hopefully stop the spread.
The thinning was surpose to start in the middle of september and be finished by the start of october, but due to contractors having delays and not going in untill the start of november the park has been closed close to 8 weeks and with lots of work still to do in repairing the trails and new features and line to be mapped out and built the place looks to be closed untill the end of november beging of december.
What we need is your help, anyone who rides and ribbesford bike park and is able to help out the are a number of dig days coming up were you can come and help out and get involved, the first of which is on sunday 10th november at 9am. All help is much Appreciated.
Thanks
