Nukeproof Releases New Solum Dirt Jump Frame
Many frames (NS Majesty, 2012 P3 ...) have neither sliding drop outs nor adjustable brake mounts and work. But you may not be able to mount it extremely far back, but everything at least between 0-12,5mm. (0-0.5 in.), which is 2 chain links / 2 seems to work fine

Nukeproof Releases New Solum Dirt Jump Frame
Especially on the Pike DJ, which is kind of the reference fork, one can barely ride without sag, because of it´s smaller air camber (five tokens in volume less) then the normal pike. If one likes to use the available travel on harder landings. (Thats why I have a normal Pike with 4 tokens. But I like to have a working fork and ride it a little softer:-D ) If the rider does not want to have the fork use its travel, yes, they may not ride much sag at all. But you may still be right. 10-20mm SAG would be much for many riders, but not much for the geometry change

@unrooted: Top tube and down tube and the color really look like a commencal (which is a nice frame). But the STP looks different to me. But on the other hand, they all "look the same" from afar, because this is the form of frame that works for dirt jumping. If it does not, it may even be a bad sign :-D

Nukeproof Releases New Solum Dirt Jump Frame
If you got something from NS Bikes (they where one of the first bigger brands who figured out a good geometry right about than), nothing much changed (other than tapered, which is a good development for dirt jump I think). But some manufacturers have not figured it out until much later. Some old frames really make it much harder to have fun, because they make it more difficult, than it has to be.

@Jammers91: Thanks for the link. We are both right :-) If you compare your link with this picture you can see a big difference. https://live.staticflickr.com/7884/46453796085_c1a740a839_b.jpg I "was" correct, but according to these drawings they may have changed it (my caliper too doesn´t have the cooling fins and is smaller) so they must have noticed the lack in braking power. Here you can see the smaller one in the background is the (maybe old) DOT version. https://bikerumor.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/63cac885-2958-42b8-b093-fe523e8c90f4l0001.jpg And yes, the size difference is (or was) extrem.

@barp: Actually, the DOT variant has much smaller pots (11mm and 14mm) compared to the mineral version (14mm and16mm) (exact measurements as far as I remember). Thats why the DOT caliper hasn´t got that much brake power. But for DOT one can use all the other calipers (its just strange that they make a tuning part for sram, that is probably not as strong as the original part.) But it is shiny :-D The mineral version is much better, but still not as big as the E4 (16mm and 16mm) and V4 (18mm and 16mm). In Germany there is someone who sells kits for the E4 and V4. If you want power.

Reserve's New Fillmore Valve Aims to Make Tubeless Easier
Schrade is so much better in almost all ways other than having a bigger diameter. I have never seen a bend schrader valve. But if one looks for a short time, one will see bend presta valves all around. I have screw-on schrader valves for presta bodys. I´m joyfull everytime I get to pump my tires, because I know I don´t have to unsrew my valves and I´m not at risk of break them.
