Do You Replace Your Helmet After an Impact? - Pinkbike Poll
This is rubbish! I've had the same helmet since Octember 1872, crashed in it loads of time and never had an octopus.

BTR Fabrications' New 650B Ranger Demo Bike
I think giving the BTR guys a hard time because of the price is a bit harsh really. Without setting up and giving this business a go, none of us have got any idea if the costs involved. Ultimately, if I came into some money, I'd love to own one of these. It looks like bags of fun!

1 Question - What Would You Like to See as the Future of Practice for Enduro Racing?
Firstly , good article and worth the read to hear the opinions of those inside the sport. Secondly, I feel this issue is supremely damaging to the discipline of Enduro. From a follower/ spectator perspective, how can you get excited about a sport that isn't played on "a level playing field". From a competitor perspective, imagine you arrived at a venue two days ago, road in practice and are now climbing in a group up to the top of stage 3... "When did you get here?", you ask. "Oh, I got in about three weeks ago, I've got top end of 20 laps in on this stage by now". From a competitors point of view, are you actually competing?

Pinkbike Poll: The Future
Oh, the irony of reading a story like this in the MTB press. "Wow, you're doing a project that'll encourage new riders and progress people who already ride? We like the angle that you're self funded without any support from the industry and trying to get off the ground. We'd love to cover your story and maybe help you with some exposure for your project. You'll just need to pay for our professional photographer to come up for the day. Oh, and of course, there'll be the overnight fees too."

Video: New Found Speed - BlackBox and JC Study the Wheel
Dear Pinkbike, Just to offer some balance on the subject of press releases..... Did SRAM forget to inbox me this press release? - Well, yes, yes it appears they forgot to send it to me so thanks for putting it up on the site. Did I feel pressured to rush out and buy these wheels that you and SRAM appear to be "stuffing down our throats"? - No. Surprisingly enough I have enough control over my own spending to not feel any pressure in the slightest. Am I all butt hurt that you put this video up? - No. I chose to click play on the video because frankly, I'm a nosey git and I prefered to watch a film about the wheels than read an article.

Video: Shaun Palmer at Wheelbase - The Interview
YES!! I finally made it onto a front page article on PB! Granted, it's just the side of my head but I'm bloody claiming this one! Shaun Palmer was a true gent and anyone who thinks he's all balls and bravado, "therefore he must be a dick" is 20yrs out of date. He's a humble man who just wants to give back to the sport. The man's a legend.....FACT!!
