bigquotesYou might think we made this edit to showcase the new OneUp cockpit.

The truth is, we just wanted to make a rad edit with Vanderham!
We hope you enjoy it. Cheers
OneUp

Thanks to Ron, Brad, KBRA & The Kamloops Ranch for all the sick trails & Thomas for being such a legend!

Love the New World Disorder musical references when he's flicking through radio channels at the start!

That's not fair, I was looking for my PayPal account after only 15sec of video !

"The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported" anyone know a fix for this? On Chrome

Looks like a bad SSL certificate for a couple of PB's media servers (ep1.pinkbike.org and es.pinkbike.org):

glacier$ curl -XGET 'https://ep1.pinkbike.org/p5pb17209597/p5pb17209597.jpg'
curl: (60) SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired

glacier$ curl -XGET 'https://es.pinkbike.org/0326525e6ac914/sprt/j/yt.ads.js'
curl: (60) SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired

Looks like you can still get the content via insecure (http) GETs though if you want to fix it on your end...

@geephlow: just swapped the video to the Vimeo version while we're dealing with our tech issues. Standby!

@brianpark: Thanks and good luck! Had a hiccup recently with my org's certbot config that caused a renewal failure and ssl outage too. I hate computerz.

This video is what i aspire to in riding. Whilst DH, freeride, dirt jumping videos are amazing to watch i get so much more inspired watching a guy absolutely smashing trails i could imagine hopping on today!

Such a beast on a bike. The Return to the Rockies video for the re-release of the Slayer is my favorite promo video ever...this OneUp one may now own that title though.

  • 2 0
If I could emulate one rider, it would be Vanderham for sure. So much steeze and so smooth. He makes it look effortless.
  • 3 0
No one floats like TV. That was awesome.

"You might think we made this edit to showcase the new OneUp cockpit. "

Actually, my first thought was the edit was to sell a Toyota Tacoma.

I love this guy. One off the all time greats.
  • 1 0
What bike is he riding? Looks like a Kona w/ an FSR pivot.
Rocky prototype?
  • 2 0
Looks like a flat black Slayer unless those are 29" wheels, then that would be something different.
  • 1 0
It's a Slayer. There's a stealth Jason Hockey Mask on the top tube.
  • 1 0
@yupstate: Something different...a Slayer on 29" wheels would count as different Smile
  • 1 1
@yupstate: Embarrassingly, I can tell this is a 27.5 bike from the placement of the front axle on the fork lowers... Seems like just a regular Slayer, with a coil shock.
  • 1 0
Could be this build, same that he rode in the North Shore RAW 100 edit: www.facebook.com/RockyMountainBicycles/posts/thomas-vanderhams-new-slayer-will-show-no-mercy-hes-built-his-bike-from-the-grou/1898918546784803

As for something different, I was told by my LBS that a new slayer is coming soon with 180mm travel in both carbon and alloy.
