Spawn Cycles Introduces 22", Adjustable 20/22" & 26/27.5” Kids Bikes
My kid just hit the top of the size range on the Ripcord this Spring, and I moved him to a Chromag Minor threat. I considered the option of a vintage 26er, but realized that old school geometry (after the ripcord) would be a big setback. The Chromag is really heavy, but with a modern eagle drivetrain, my 60lb kid can manage it without issue. I live in Oregon with lots of long and steep fire road climbing though, so protracted singletrack climbing might work out differently.

Pinkbike Poll: Which Foot Do You Ride With Forward?
My guess is that the preference for turning left (regardless of foot forward or handedness) had little to do with foot position and everything to do with the location of the front brake lever in North America. Cornering (especially in steep switchbacks) requires careful modulation of the front brake. This is easy to do in a left turn, as that hand is weighted and close to your body. The opposite is true on a right turn—your brake lever is far away and you’re mostly keeping weight off the bar on that side.

Evil wreckoning, size medium, X2 and reverb

$1000 USD
Size medium evil wreckoning, black with orange decals. X2 shock was ridden about 5 times total (ran a push eleven-six that I’m rebuilding for my new bike). Headset is brand new FSA; bb is race face with some definite life left in it. Reverb 150 was rebuilt five rides ago and is flawless! No scratches or blemishes on the fork or post. Frame shows some wear (mostly from cable rub), and tight tolerances around the rear tire has left cosmetic (not deep) rub marks in the back of the rear swing arm (there’s a LOT of carbon on this frame, and it’s structurally great). Bearings are newer and moving smoothly!
