Help Us Inspire a New Generation of Riders - Apply To Be an Outride Ambassador

At Outride we are committed to breaking down barriers so that all kids have access to bicycles and safe places to ride. We believe that bicycles not only have the ability to improve the health of youth but also bring the power of opportunity, agency, and freedom to those who have access to the power of two wheels. Bicycles have the power to make lives better beyond winning races—they bring people and communities together, motivate us to become better humans, and help us take advantage of what the world has to offer.

Outride Ambassadors give youth in our programs someone to look up to. Each ambassador has a story of how bicycles have empowered their lives - inside and outside of competition. We want our youth to see the whole picture in regards to cycling, and we’ve found some incredible riders to help us achieve this goal. Our Ambassadors visit Riding for Focus Schools and Outride communities to meet, inspire, and ride with these young riders.

We are looking for riders passionate about youth cycling to represent Outride in communities across the United States and the world. Whether you commute to school or work by bike, race in UCI Mountain Bike World Cups, travel via bike packing, coach a local league, or advocate for bicycle safety in your community, we value your perspective and potential to become an Outride Ambassador.

Outride Ambassador involvement for the 20-21 academic school year (October 2020 – 2021):
-Virtual or in-person visits to Outride youth and Riding for Focus schools
-Collaboration with Outride to bring a Riding for Focus program or Outride Fund project to your community
-Participate in social media campaigns, organization awareness, and marketing
-Attend / volunteer with Outride at cycling industry events (Sea Otter Classic, Crankworx, NICA events, Peter Sagan Fondo, etc.)
-Promote the values and mission of Outride to make cycling more accessible to individuals from all backgrounds
