New ambassadors aim to spread awareness and access of cycling benefits and inspire youth.

Outride, an organization that partners with communities to provide equitable biking opportunities, announced partnerships with 16 new ambassadors who will join the nonprofit's mission of breaking down barriers to increase youth access to bicycles and safe places to ride.

Outrides believes that bicycles not only have the ability to improve the health of our youth, but also bring the power of opportunity, agency, and freedom to those who have access to the power of two wheels.

“We want the youth involved in our programs to be empowered by cycling – it’s health benefits as well as through the connection, opportunity, and access it provides. Cycling has the power to bring people together and change the world,” said Skye DeLano, Outride Executive Director. “We are excited to begin working together with our new ambassadors to bring awareness to Outride programs and offer youth new role models from diverse backgrounds.”

Outride Ambassadors will help mentor, motivate, and inspire a new generation of riders and cycling leaders by visiting Riding for Focus Schools and Outride communities to meet, inspire, and ride with young riders.

Each unique in their riding style and purpose, all ambassadors share the belief that bicycles have the ability to improve the health of today’s youth and empower students to learn and grow in positive ways. Outride is proud to name the following 16 riders as Outride Ambassadors:

Christopher Stricklen
Christina Grande
Josie Fouts

Sean Hopkins
Lael Wilcox
Matthew Accarino
Dani Suansing
Karlene Edwards
Krystal Salvent
