Throwback Thursday: 15 of the Best Women's Freeride Edits
Equality can be measured many ways.
I think part of the problem is the women are always expecting the same prize money.
Which would be fine if the riding level was the same as the men.
OR the viewership was the same as the men’s event, which could justify the cost.
But if that was the case, just have an open event.
No categories.
Hate to say it but there are a bunch of preteen boys in Whistler who would beat every female pro rider all day long.
What should they get paid ?
The reality is there are alot of women making a career out of biking, who are not as good as the kids in Whistler.
The level is great, but not good enough to qualify for this event.
Never mind the 100’s of other men who could also attend Rampage but will never get the call to ride.

Fox 36 Float ( perf elite , with kashima )
$300 CAD2018 Fox 36 float.
Performance Elite model , but upgraded to Kashima when CSU replaced.
So it’s basically a factory fork.
170 mm travel.
200 mm steerer tube.
The bad - see photos as well.
Some wear on the crown from being on a north shore rack.
One tiny mark on the kashima.
A wear line on the steer tube from the upper headset.
The good - I have been using this fork until recently.
No issues riding it.
No creaking CSU.
Replacing because I just got a 38.
Reduced price to sell

The Relay is a fun bike.
I’ve had mine for just over 3 months now.
Riding with buddies who have full power bikes, and the battery usage is comparable.
I’m working harder, but I get the advantage of an Ebike that feels like a regular bike on the downs.
