Here's a project that I filmed a while ago when Graeme came to the Bay Area for a weekend. After sitting on the back burner for far too long, I finally put it together. He and I hope that you enjoy it.
Some people may think me and my friend motoboy36 are whining.. lol ~but come the f*ck on! Looks almost nothing of Skyline Park in napa.. not bad filming/shooting.. but he was riding on random ass grassy shit with a few rocks around an area that don't even look remotely close to what Skyline's awesomeness has to offer.. haha all hate aside, good filming, just needed more "trail" and "scenery" of the whole valley! Because you can see all the way to SF and back in the opposite direction to Mt St. Helena which would be pretty Badass if you included the "Napa" Part of the experience to the film! Peace :~p
Yea..... NOT the better representation of Napa that's for sure!! What was he thinkin.. a grape vine shot with a balloon is napa?!? haha What about Skyline/Angwin/Oat Hill Mine... as a Local I cant help but feel let down after watching this & thinking I'd see some of our sweet trails :/
@Jaybirdy: There was def Skyline in there. He rode right by Lake Marie.. Not sure about Angwin or Oat Hill. I grew up in Napa and don't necessarily miss the trails for the steeps very beautiful and good enduro stuff.
@Holstermx26: Literally nothing from Skyline. Not any of the actual trail anyways. If anything, that was Rockville, which is not Napa. Really easy to tell based off the trees in the segment. More specifically, the tree at 1:17, those are only seen at Rockville, none at Skyline. I'm with @Jaybirdy on this one as both him and I, along with many other locals, know Skyline like the back of our hands, that sure wasn't it.
@motoboy36: seriously... this guy may think we are whining.. lol ~but come the f*ck on! 2nd location = one of my Pacifica home trails. Should've hired a local Boyscout to show him the full XXX show. Nevertheless super cool to see a local trail on PB! Nicely put together and I kinda suck at riding a couple of those bumps apparently.
Hey erbody... I was a lil intoxicated last night ranting on about bla bla bla, I Wana say sorry and Good Shredding and Filming.. just come out and some some more sick trails that we have out here! Cheers Guys, my bad!
I don't think that's the problem. The filming was sick, it's hard so can't take anything from that. But naming something that it isn't is sort of annoying. As a local, I know there's tones of sick things that would've looked way cooler than riding down some random hillside with no clear trail. Again, it's not to take anything from them, it's just that as any other local around the world, you would only want the best representation of your home turf so that other people get as stoked as you are about it.

@Jaybirdy: As a Napa Valley local as well (specifically Caistoga) I agree with you. That looked maybe like sonoma? or even Santa Rosa? Not Napa valley.
@PBmedia: Huh! Never even knew there were trails out there. I Guess it is Napa Valley! Props on the video! Next time you guys are shooting a vid hit me up and we will head out to Angwin. I know all the freeride spots out there. Some pretty gnarly stuff.
There are way better jumps and trails in pacifica right there, and this fool chose that shit?! He featured a wall ride but didn't ride the wall, he hit a big jump and then showed the smallest jumps on the trail! Next time someone films in pacifica (or napa never ridden there but there have got to better trails than some random grassy stuff), they need to hit the real trails.
@endlessblockades: I ride the cave trail about once every couple months hoping that the A-lines are clear. And everytime I am unpleasantly surprised by more anti-mtb features. Latest addition, wooden stairs
@p-dub-4: I've heard both The Mile and Mile from locals, a trail which would've been cooler to see them ride ( the McCaul/Voreis link, not the Pitts video)
@zerk: Right on - now we're getting there, although they missed the big jump line on BS,and all the other trails on the mountain although I thought I saw 1 of the drop-gaps from xxx. Really nice filming and fast riding...would've liked to hear the raw sounds. Love Pasickifa
@suprsknk: I wasn't commenting on the trail Mcaul was filming on, that isn't Mile. I was just saying Mile is called Mile, not "the mile" a local corrected me long ago, so I pass the cheakyness on... All in good fun.
