TREK Slash 9.9 Custom Build

$3700 USD
This is a frame-up custom build on a 2019 Trek Slash carbon frameset. Used for about 3 months. I absolutely love this bike, I just lost my job due to coronavirus so I'm selling this. It's still in fantastic condition, everything has been well maintained. The rear derailleur only has a couple of rides on it, the chain is brand new and so are the brake pads. Everything else may show signs of cosmetic wear but is functioning perfectly. The frame originally comes with a black rocker link, I got this red one from a frame I had warrantied last year. If you don't know much about the Slash let me tell you this is the most capable trail bike I have ever ridden. Built with full carbon frame, wheels, and handlebar it's plenty light to make the trip up a breeze but it really shines when it's time to go downhill. This bike is an absolute blast on anything steep and rough, can totally replace your DH bike if you need it to. Take it from me, this thing rips. I have it fitted with a 170mm dropper seatpost. The bike comes with Revolution Suspension Grips, which are an absolute gamechanger. Seriously the best grips I've ever used, you'll have to feel them to see what I mean. Rockshox Lyrik RC2 has been super solid and push, Shimano 4-piston XT brakes are awesome. Bontrager SE5 2.6" tire up front and SE4 2.4" in back is the perfect combo for the loose rocky/loamy trails we have here in the PNW. The tires still have around 50% tread left. The retail price on the frame/build kit added up comes to about $7,992. I'm asking $3700 CASH. NO TRADES. Let me know if you have questions, here's a list of the specs w/retail prices: Frame: 2019 Trek Slash Carbon $3800 Rear Shock: RockShox Deluxe RT3, RE:aktiv w/Thru Shaft (Comes with frame) Wheels: Bontrager Line Pro 30 $1300 Front Tire: Bontrager SE5 29x2.6 $85 Rear Tire: Bontrager SE4 29x2.4 $75 Fork: Rockshox Lyrik RC2 $1000 Handlebar: Bontrager Line Pro carbon 35. 780mm wide $180 Stem: Bontrager Line pro, 50mm length (comes with frame) Grips: Revolution Suspension grips pro series 34mm: $90 Brakes: Shimano XT M8020 4 piston: $400 Brake rotors: Shimano XT (203mm front/180mm rear) $80 Drivetrain: Cranks: Sram Descendant $130 Derailleur: Sram GX Eagle $125 Shifter: GX Eagle $45 Cassette: GX Eagle $215 Chain: GX Eagle $33

TREK REMEDY 9.8 SIZE LG 19.5

$2500 USD
For sale is my 2017 Trek Remedy 9.8. It was bought directly from trek and assembled out of the box by me. I rode the bike for the first time during January of 2017 and in the year and a half since then have been on less than 10 rides. It should still have a year and a half warranty left on the frame (3 year total). The fork has had one maintenance rebuild. Both brake pads have been replaced once + brakes bled. The chain + shift cable have been replaced once, and will be replaced again before the bike is sold. The front and rear tire have been upgraded to the Bontrager SE5 Team issue and both have >60% tread left. The fork has the two factory tokens installed and can be easily removed. The majority of the wear on the bike is only on the crank arms and a slight mis-true in the front wheel. The bike comes with everything pictured except for the pedals. Full spec sheet here: https://archive.trekbikes.com/ca/en/2017/Trek/remedy_98#/ca/en/2017/Trek/remedy_98/details Only changes are ergon GD1 grips, the mentioned tires and 1x conversion. $2500, You pay shipping. Cash only for local deals. ---NO TRADES PERIOD---

Opinion: The Painless Tattoo
I've never met a beginner who said wow if only I had a newer bike I would go hit that 40ft double, there seems to be a confidence factor the the article left out, not just anyone will do anything cause their bike is nice.

Video: Carson Storch at Mt. Bachelor
If you go here run the thickest casings you have got 5 flats in one weekend while running tubeless and it was the kind where you need to buy new tires. They also only seemed to have dh casings on their 2.5in minion tires high rollers where a very light casing maybe they were out cause it was race weekend. Great trails though the new pro trail looks gnarly.
