Friends,
Please attend this event tomorrow night, this is a good group of local guys trying to do good things for the Freeride / DH community in San Diego but the only way it will work is if we all participate. It is critical to their ongoing efforts that the DH community is represented properly and to be quite honest with you if one more photo of a lizard climbing on a 29'er wins a photo contest I think I'm going to puke ! Come on out and participate or just cast your votes for the best Freeride / DH photo's on display !

FIRST ANNUAL P.R.O. PHOTO CONTEST

The Progressive Riders Organization (P.R.O.) is a new organization associated with San Diego Mountain Biking Association (SDMBA), P.R.O.’s main purpose is to advocate for progressive riding opportunities (downhill/freeride/etc.) in and around San Diego County. We want what you want, a bike park and more areas for Progressive Mountain biking!

Join Progressive Riding Organization (P.R.O.) and Cal Coast Bicycles for an evening of free pizza, beer (donated by Lagunitas Brewing), and adrenaline-inducing memories at 7:00pm on Thursday, December 8th, 2011 at Cal Coast Bicycles located at 3020 Adams Avenue San Diego, CA 92116. Stop by to enter in your action shots, enjoy good company, and learn more about P.R.O.

All photos will be displayed at the event and judged by your peers. Winners will get their photos printed on the P.R.O. Poster Calendar and receive cool swag from our sponsors Cal Coast Bicycles, 661, iMountainBike and Canfield Brothers; the Best of show grand prize will be a Recon Helmet from 661.

Cal Coast Bicycles will be offering a 15% discount to all Photo contest attendees. We will also be raffling off an Ellsworth frame. Raffle Tickets are $5 (we will be selling some at the Photo Contest) and are also available ahead of time from Cal Coast Bicycles and North of the Border Bikes.

To bad I am in another state, but SD needs this. There is amazing trails that need love and this is a great way to do it. Enjoy a great night and a toast to a SD rider at heart.
