Next weekend, for 3 days, the German town Willingen will turn into a huge bike party.
The famous Ziener BIKE festival rolls into town.
A huge bike show combined with great MTB action, such as the IXS European DH Cup, the SRAM Specialized Enduro Series and the only on site event the "RADON Pump Battle World Series".

Friday evening around the 19:00 clock, riders from all over Europe will go head 2 head on the Modular Dual Pumptrack.
Everybody who wants to enter this unique pumptrack event can sign up at www.pumpbattle.com or Friday afternoon at location in Willingen.

The concept is simple: All riders do one time qualifying lap, the 32 fastest riders will qualify for the dual head 2 head pumptrack finals.
From here on it’s a knock-out race.
If you loose your race your are out, you can have a beer and watch the rest of the Pump Battle show.
If you win you directly qualify for the next round, till there are only 2 riders left who will battle it out for the win.
It will be a great show with pumping music, fireworks and of course thrilling head 2 head pumptrack racing.

Over 60 BMX and MTB riders took the trip to the Riva BIKE Festival to go head 2 head with euch other.
It turned out to be a big battle between BMX and MTB riders.

At a great ambiance, with Brett Tippie on the Mic, former 4X World Champion Tomas Slavik from CZ, won the head 2 head dragrace over Italien BMX pro rider Matti Hapacher.
In the girls category it was World 4X silver medalist Lucia Oetjen who took the win over national German 4X champion Laura Bretthauer.

With riders from USA, Chile, France, Germany and so on this event was stacked with pro athletes out of different bicycle disciplines.
Former 4X World Champion Joost Wichman set the fastest time in qualifying, but saw him self eliminated in quarter finals by BMX pro rider Santiago Marin from USA.

Unfortunately for Santiago he crashed in his semi final against German 4X rider Klaus Beige.
In the final round France bad ass Adrien Loron, showed why he was the 2015 Crankworx Pumptrack world tour winner, and backflipped to the win.
Leaving Klause Beige in 2nd and BMX rider Santiago in 3rd.
