With the Enduro World Series drawing towards the grand Finale already, it was time to tackle the penultimate round at the iconic venue of Whistler, Canada. The EWS has visited the site of Crankworx for the last four consecutive years earning it the name "Crankzilla", not just because of the length of the race itself but the stages' lengths and how brutal they are on both, bike and body making it in my eyes, the toughest round of the year.
Racing would bring us five stages ranging from twenty minutes down to just over five minutes. It was always going to be hard going but couple that with long, steep transitions and hike-a-biking meant that the 57-kilometer loop was looking primed to test everyone. Sit back and enjoy the video of what must be some of the gnarliest stages out there.
An amazing time racing this beast of a race with so many highs and lows; it'll be one I won't forget. A huge shout out to everyone who's helped me living the dream and making it happen.
