Diamondback Dreamliner 4X Racer: Sea Otter Day 3

by Richard Cunningham
Diamondback is back in the fight. After languishing in the lower reaches of big-box retailers, Diamondback returns to its racing heritage with the Dreamliner - a beautiful aluminum-framed racing chassis specifically designed for 4X and dual slalom. The name and paint scheme came from another famous company based in Seattle.

agreed, so much like the commencal meta 4x thuogh in terms of suspension design. pretty sick though its like meta 4x meets specialized sx hahaha

you know what even would be a plus..... it would cost significantly less than a specialized SX or a COmmencal meta...... thinking that it was inspired by Boeing, i'm guessing it will get a lot of air!...... haha get it? corny jokes.......

@theriotact About perfect really. Meta is too boring, SX looks like it melted. This is the perfect balance Smile

Hey DiamondBack, How about you guys replace my broken Mission frame (which I still haven't managed to get help with from your company's warrantee department, despite it being an issue of a misaligned welding job on the knucklebox) with one of these sweet frames... that is, if you've fixed the issues with your fabricator.

Looks similar to the Atherton's bikes though.

at least someone else here knows about the aircraft!

If 4x is supposedly dead why are manufacturers coming out with frames? The USA scene needs to get their act together in promoting and hosting 4x, there is obviously more interest and market place for such designs elswhere.

same here in Australia.......... except were worse, we got like possible 5 running 4x tracks in New South Wales...... yes that's the size California, Nevada and Utah combined!

I like it, but the chainstays seem a touch long just looking at them. Geo numbers would've been nice.

Lol, not that original. Linkage off a Commencal, looks from a Boeing...
  • 1 0
sorry bud, they've been using that linkage since '03 or '04 I think. not a new copy of commencal.
