Pinkbike covered the debut of Leatt's detachable chin-bar full face helmet in detail
at Crankworx 2016. The DBX 3.0 Enduro was slated for production shortly after, but Leatt, being a leader in the protection game, waited until their convertible lid was perfect before releasing it for sale. Leatt is happy to announce that the 3.0 Enduro will hit shops this Fall in four colorways for $239.99 USD.
Details: • Detachable chin bar
• Weight: from 700 grams with and 375 grams without the chin bar
• 360° Turbine Technology: reducing rotational acceleration and concussion risk
• Certified and tested to EN1078 and CPSC 1203
• Well-ventilated with 18 vent holes in the half shell and five in the chin bar
• Fidlock magnetic buckle for ease of use
• Retailing for 259,-€ // £189,- // US$239.99
For the full story, visit Leatt's 3.0 Enduro page. "Overall, ten turbines are strategically placed inside the helmet between the EPS and the rider's head. Made of a 3D molded energy-absorbing material, these turbines stiffen upon impact to provide protection." - Leatt PR

Maybe this Leatt will look better on the head?
I must say, that the Super DH blew my mind. Super comfy (HUGS your head), looks amazing (Not stupidly wide like the Giro sister helmet) and that spherical MIPS seems well thought out (doesn't move around like a bobble head)
Sufficed to say, I'm really REALLY glad I tried one on. Im normally pretty tight with the £££ and have to have a damn good reason to change brands/replace old kit... but yeah.. never thought Id want a Bell... but the fit & form just tick every box.. hope this helped.

edit: just saw that the 2016 article is linked from this one, so it is the same helmet
With the chin guard on, the overall sizing felt pretty good n compact except it literaly tore my ears off getting it on and off.
My advice: try before you buy.
Why even care, you have your proframe anyway!? lol
Unless you don't know, you can have a face plant almost everywhere if the shit goes wrong....
By the way, why can't we erase our comments? Or am I the only one that is that stupid?
