Troy Brosnan was hanging out at Lift Coffee in Whistler Village with the Demo 8 that the folks at Specialized customized for Whistler Crankworx this year. Brosnan's kit and helmet were also matched to the bike - down to his shoes. Beyond the paint scheme and the fancy kit, Specialized decked out Troy's race bike with color-matched anodized titanium and aluminum hardware. Brosnan's customized kits and race bikes have become a signature trademark this season.

FYI, type III Is also significantly thicker than type II which is another reason it's so tough.
tolerences?
You can make it whatever color you like?
I think the marzocchi stuff is a teflon based secondary treatment. From what I understand on motorcycles this is sometimes considered inferior to just type III in the long run. I am not sure that is completely relevant to MTB since all our bushings are covered in teflon, not super precise metal machine work like motorcycles.
There is also black diamond treatment, the longest lasting and best overall, but it costs more than MTB forks to have done.
Rider height & weight
Frame size
Tire pressure (if they want to give that info out)
Suspension set up (if they want to give that info out)
We love these articles for the details, and it would be awesome if PB could include these details every time.

Ka-brap I'm not sure he knows his suspension setup as well as his mechanic and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that... I'd rather see a good video from testing session with Troy and RS tech guys.

Since feeling "right" is pretty subjective, It's impressive that so many riders have the same great opinion about Renthal bars, which is what makes me wonder how do they do it.

I get some bolts corroding annoyingly often (don't live far from the ocean, plus I sweat a ton and it gets everywhere) and would be tempted to get some if only for the corrosion resistance. Right now my stem bolts, seat post clamp, and lock on grips are the places where I could use them really. Not sure the price would be worth it over buying replacement steel bolts.
Also, that bike is incredible. I love the new paint jobs he gets on his bike so often. What is especially crazy, aside from the frequent frame paint jobs, is all the accessories that go with it! Shoes and jerseys and helments oh my!
