Bike Check: Joe Nation's Pole Stamina
@sp00n82: No, the steep seat angle takes away the extreme ‘effective top tube’ At the end of the day, you increase reach, you increase wheelbase, no way around that. On a side note, I think seat angles cant really go past about 80 degrees otherwise peoples knees would be falling off due to poor bike fit. When you are seated with feet on peddles at 3 and 9 o clock, your kneecap should be directly above the peddle axle. To far in front (or behind) and you’ll end up with knee pain...

YT Announces New 2019 Jeffsy
Yea, as an owner of an old capra mk1, I found the capra mk2 (pro race 180/180mm) too much bike to peddle about, so inefficent - its almost a dh bike. To me it looks like the fox 36 equiped 160mm pro race jeffsy 27.5 is a good replacement of the original capra (once fork bumped up to 170) I’m more tempted by a 140mm 29er though - the original was such a short bike with a tall seat tube. Looks like YT is now seriously on fire. But.... Anyone else think it looks like a propaine hugene?!?!?
