Love the music behind it. Almost like a raw vid but the music gives it that really chill vibe. Great riding.

Thanks. That's the vibe we were going for. Glad you liked it.

Any chill vibe always works Wink

@pwcutajar: Good vid, great back ground music. Iphones f*cking suck.

Greatest mtb video i have seen in a while! Chill soundtrack and foggy forest always works for me.

Appreciate it the kind words. We love the whole vibe of the video.

It's so funny how each of our music preferences are different.
Many times I love the music in a video and others hate it (Rap, dub, vocal trance).
In this video, I didn't enjoy the music, but looks like others loved it.
  • + 2
@abzillah: This music establishes the mood. rap, dub, and vocal trance is not the same 'feel' as MTB, and it's jarring even if the music is rad on it's own.

Iphones ok, great images ... Did you use extra microphones to capture the sound?
  • + 14
Thanks. We did use a small external mic for sound.

Awesome. Feedback like that is what we love most about sharing content like this. Cheers!

Cool vid. The diffused lighting and subtle music highlighted the riders' speed on the trails. And it's great to see a vid that is not all about roosting, tail whips and airtime. Well done!

Yeah I knew it was east coast US just from the vegetation, the type of rocks and the way the trails were blazed! The blue blobs of paint on the trees are so east coast US state park! Easy to get lost in some of these places because you really see the faded paint spots clearly marking the trails as you fly by! These look like fun trails I'll have to go visit. Not too far from PA.

Sherando Lake. One of many great trails here in the mountains of VA. Definitely worth a trip. Cheers!

Love this concept! You guys did an amazing job with just using phones. I would love to hear what accessories you used to bring all that together, ext mic/gimbal/dolly/camera crane

 Great video!

 Thanks, Ryan.

Sweet vid. Great to showcase that you don't always need a RED camera or a DSLR and $$$$ of lens to make a great online edit. Really nice post production work to pull it all together.

Well done guys, this is the kind of video I would like to play on the customer side of the shop. Music is not too loud and the riding sound gets the attention of someone standing looking around. Should be longer though!
  • + 2
you guys made that rock garden look like a set of stairs..... stupid stoked to see VA trails make it to pinkbike. just rode the western slope of massanutten yesterday.

 Thumbs up from down under!

Awesome vid. I like it when it's easy to find out which bikes are being used too. Every vid should have that listed.
  • + 3
Glad you found that helpful. 5010s are rad given their "trail" bike classification.
  • + 3
Great video, excellently done on apple hardware. Sweet setting and almost gregorian feel to the music.
  • + 3
excellent video. watched the intro a few times, just because the animation was so rad.

  • + 9
They did not, but maybe they should Wink

Great video, felt dreamy and sentimental. What did you use to edit the image on? And did you film the footage on the stock IPhone camera app or another?
  • + 1
@RideKore What steady cam or ... have you found works best for using an iPhone? Thanks
  • + 2
Great video. What did you use for camera motion and stabilization?
  • + 3
 so sick!

I like that in ski videos the location is usually in the credits, biking locations should be too
