Video: Matthew Fairbrother in 'MTB vs Ultra-Runner - The Tour du Mont Blanc'
https://www.rockandrideoutdoors.com/blog/the-hunger-games-a-solo-unsupported-non-stop-tour-of-mont-blanc/ Good effort. I did it in 19:17 a few years back solo riding on what appears to be the exact same loop. Reckon I could knock 2 hours off that with a few kit changes and better navigation. Starting in the middle of the night definitely helped as once the sun was up it was daylight the rest of the time. That descent into Switzerland was unreal in the dark although luckily I rode it the week before when we biked the Haute Route so I knew it well enough.

Not the exact same route as you Tito, I pretty much followed the UTMB race route. https://www.rockandrideoutdoors.com/blog/the-hunger-games-a-solo-unsupported-non-stop-tour-of-mont-blanc/ We did a five day trip following the exact route of the walker's Haute Route on the same holiday. Have you done that one?

Amazing route. Did it once over three days and then once solo and non-stop in 19 hours. Possibly the best experience I've had on a bike!

Video: Traversing Switzerland, Italy & France on eMTBs
Hmmm, fair play. It's a stunning area and hike a bike with ebikes must be tough. Last September we did the whole Haute Route unsupported in five days, ladders and all. Then straight after I did a solo non-stop 19 hour ride round the whole Tour de Mont Blanc. We were mostly on hardtails which was super-handy for all the scrambling sections, nice and light! I'm intrigued how much of the actual Haute Route you did? My favourite bit of it was the day we overstretched and ended up descending from a 3000m ridge in pitch black and snow before blagging into a hut after midnight to avoid spending the remainder of the night huddled in a group shelter. I wonder how much being reliant on re-charging robbed you of the possibilities of having those mini adventures within the overall adventure?

Chris King Threaded 24mm Mountain Bottom Bracket

$80 GBP
Chris King Threaded 24mm Mountain Bottom Bracket, Pewter. Basically new, been ridden for about 150 miles on my gravel bike before I've swapped out for some cranks that are bb30, unfortunately making this redundant. Tiny bit of chipping on the anodising from fitting but otherwise as new.

Shimano M9020 Crankset

$150 GBP
Shimano M9020 Crankset, 170mm. Minimal use. This crankset was on my MTB for a few weeks before moving to my gravel bike. It was perfect for either purpose but I've gone to BB30 so it no longer fits. Comes with a 30t XTR MTB ring, a 38t Superstar for CX and Gravel and a totally unused 40t Superstar for a single ring road set up. Cranks were invisi-taped from new so have minimal wear apart from a bit of rub at the bb end.

Chris King Disc Go Tech Hubs 32h on Stans Arch EX

$350 GBP
Chris King Disc Go Tech Hubs on Stans Arch EX rims, 26". These are a real retro lovers dream, actually 1999 but the ad date only goes back to 2000! These are the Disc Go Tech versions that came between the Classic and the ISO. They come with 6 bolt disc adaptors. Rear is a 135mm QR and comes with a Chromag skewer, front is a choice of 100mm QR or 100mm 15mm bolt through. Rims are Stans Arch EX in immaculate condition, hand built with DT Comp spokes. Those awful Stans stickers have been removed for a stealthy black look. Also come with near new Maxxis Advantage and High Roller 2.1s. Pains me to part with these as they were a 21st birthday present (I'm over 40 now!) and apart from a small amount of chew on the freehub they're in superb condition. They were my first ever really blingy component and have been loved and maintained throughout their life. Sadly I can't find a use for them now so no point keeping them for looking at.
