I think they got that right. Andreu's line was one of the simplest, he just added more flips to it. Rheeders line wasn't the biggest but it was bigger than Andreu's. Rheeder had similar variety with his line but more variety with tricks. When Andreu had the opportunity to add more trick variety he did an other flip and a an other flat 3. It is not slopestyle but variety is still very important.

I completely disagree with what you've said. Rheeder doesn't have a 1080 and probably cant do a triple tail whip but he can double backflip, he doesn't do them in competition because its not his style and he does other tricks that balance out his run. I'd argue that Rheeder is progressing faster than Rogatkin. flat drop flip whip, no one thought that was possible, the very few people can flip whip a cannon and I doubt anyone else could cork 7 on to the wail tail yet he did the opposite. The progression that you are not seeing is that his opposite side is becoming stronger than most riders regular side.

I have to say the Andreu Vinny T Bas chute line looks almost as gnarly as the Pef Zink Straight line. The extra 2 small drops and the turn makes it look super sketchy. definitely my two favorite lines

@scott-townes: During the original rampage they relied on the terrain as the landing which is much wider and doesn't have a sharp boundary where you have to land. If someone says something and it makes zero sense to you, you probably just don't understand what they mean.

@scott-townes: I know Bas's example was a stretch that's why i said maby. Those very small misjudgments wouldn't have had as large consequences if they didn't rely on the packed and shaped landing. my point was that the building that they do often isn't to make it safer and they don't have to dig so much.
