Grips Deity Skin grips Stem Cane creek 40mm head stem This is a great bike for a new rider or an experienced shredder, it is a climbing machine whilst still very capable downhill, I live in Laguna beach and ride nearly every trail on offer in the area on this bike quite comfortably which is a great testament to it. I’m selling because I just barely have the time to ride anymore and it’s too good a thing to just sit and not be used, me and my wife are saving to buy a place and the high end mountain bike sitting there not being ridden has been the elephant in the room for sometime. . . The bike is quite nimble for an xl 29r, I don’t know it’s exact weight but its light for a bike of its size and gets a lot of compliments from whoever picks it up, I’m sure it being light contributes to its agile feel and climbing ability. The 135mm rear travel is less than some new trail bikes however the Float X2 really makes up for this and makes the bike capable of mowing through chunky stretches and rock gardens surprisingly well. I just increased the travel by 10mm on the fork which also slackened the head angle nearly a degree, I didn’t think this would make that much difference but it really took its downhill capability up a notch whilst still climbing great. The bike had a full in shop service of everything on it 2 months ago and I have brand new full service kits and specific oil for both suspensions, and a service kit with fluid for the brakes all of which I’ll throw in with the bike if you want them. As you can see the bike has some pretty loud frame protection due to me ordering the wrong color on the website! Some people love it, some people hate it, if you’re interested in the bike but hate the wrap I’ve read it comes off without too much hassle. The only negatives/damages to this bike are a couple scratches on the frame (hey it’s from 2016) which I have touched up with the correct paint, I tried taking pics of these but you can’t really see them in the photos so I’ll happily point them out in person. The fork had scratches near the bottom on the left side and the decals were peeling so I re-sprayed it black and put new decals on. The rear derailleur also has a scuff on it but I didn’t want to mess with painting it as it’s tuned perfectly and I don’t have much experience taking derailleurs apart and re assembling them. The rims no longer have their decals on them, I ran skin wall tires for a while and I think plain black rims look so much better with skin wall so I took them off, I’m sure these are easy to replace though if you really want to show off your ENVE carbon rims! The seat has some wear but no actual tears. I’m more than happy to answer any questions you have and anything I don’t know I’m sure I’ll be able to find out on the internet somewhere. This bike is a STEAL at 1600, selling cheap because I need it gone quick but you could probably sell the wheel set and shock for a grand alone!
