Santa Cruz Bronson X01 MX - LESS THAN 200 MILES!!

$4350 USD
2022 Santa Cruz Bronson X01 MX with upgrades, size large, for sale in the SoCal area (I am located in North County, San Diego). I also own a Santa Cruz Hightower and can't justify having both bikes as they are so close in their purpose. The bike has been ridden less than 200 miles! The MX wheel size (mullet) is amazing for nimble cornering. Bike is in super condition with only minor trail wear. I am in my 50's and ride conservatively (no crashes, etc. on this bike). The gold color is something to see in real life and is a head turner! Bike comes with the following upgrades: 1) Cascade Link (extends rear travel to 160) - original link will be sold with bike 2) Absolute Black Oval 32T chainring 3) Shimano XT Dual Piston Brakes (replaced original SRAM brakes as I prefer Shimano) 4) Light Bicycle carbon rims 5) Fox Transfer w/ Kashima coating dropper post 6) Bike was ride wrapped before first ride 7) Cables shrink wrapped for super clean cockpit and no cable rattling No trades, prefer local pickup but open to shipping domestic US if buyer pays shipping.

Santa Cruz Bullit CC MX (29/27.5)

$7200 USD
Here is a chance to get a very well taken care of carbon eMTB (with a color that will turn heads!) for thousands off list price which was originally $9500 and purchased here locally in San Diego. Comes with extra battery! The highlights: -I am 52 years old, consider myself a good rider, but don't "send it" off massive jumps or drops - in other words, the bike has been ridden well below it's potential. -I am one of those riders that are meticulous with my gear - I hate any kind of noises coming from my bikes, and take extremely good care of my equipment. The bike is in excellent condition as you can see by the photos. Very few scratches on the frame, as I protected it with 3M tape in key areas (chain stays, down tube, top tube, fork). I have now removed the tape to prepare the bike for the next owner -170mm front and rear travel will get you down just about anything, and since it is an eBike, will get you back up the hill quickly for more runs! You can lock out the rear suspension and run the front fork firmer if you don't need the travel - good to have it when you need it though! -The bike weighs about 50 pounds -I changed the brakes out from SRAM CODE to Shimano SLX Dual Piston -The battery and motor work perfectly. -The cables are wrapped with heat shrink to minimize cable rattle -The dropper post works perfectly, and I installed a WolfTooth soft touch lever. -The bike shifts perfectly -The chain is not stretched - both chain and cassette were wiped down after every ride, oiled every 3 rides. -The cassette is not worn -The brakes work perfectly -The suspension works perfectly -The bike charges perfectly -The bike has never been ridden in the rain, or submerged in any water (stream crossings, etc.) -Comes with Shimano XTR clipless pedals Reason for selling: I have been on the fence to let this one go for some time now, but it is time as I find myself only riding it occasionally (I have several other mountain bikes) and it doesn't make sense to keep this any longer. I am located in north county San Diego, and will consider meeting to purchase bike within 100 miles drive (e.g., LA, Temecula, Menifee, etc.) For additional details and specs about this bike (S Build), visit the Santa Cruz website. Thank you for considering!

Pivot Firebird with Reynolds Carbon Rims

$4500 USD
I am reluctantly parting with my amazing 2017 Pivot Firebird Carbon MTB. The geometry (long, low, slack) is thoroughly modern and at speed it is incredibly nimble. The 170mm front and rear travel handles the chunk, drops, and jumps amazingly well. The DW-link rear suspension makes it an extremely good climber. lt has been ridden a handful of times each year I have owned it and is super clean with minimal scratches (I installed protective 3M tape to protect the frame from scratches). I originally purchased to help with my jumping progression but about 2 years ago I have turned more towards trail / XC riding so this bike only gets ridden a few times a year. The bike weighs approximately 31 pounds which is super light for what it is capable of. This bike rewards the aggressive rider who prefers 27.5 wheels and is looking to get a top shelf, boutique branded carbon framed bike with carbon wheels at an amazing price. Specifications: Frame: Carbon fiber Size: Large Wheels: Reynolds Carbon 27.5, 30mm Internal Width Tires: (F) Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5 Front (MaxxGrip), (R) Maxxis Minion DHR II 2.4 (MaxxTerra) Hubs: Industry Nine Handlebar: RaceFace 6C 800mm Fork: Fox Factory 36 with Fit4 damper, Kashima coat - 170mm Shock: Fox Factory X2, Kashima coat - 170mm (high and low speed compression, high and low speed rebound adjustments) Drivetrain: SRAM X01 Eagle (chainring, cassette, chain) Cranks: SRAM X01 carbon fiber Brakes: Shimano XT Dropper: Fox Transfer 150mm

Santa Cruz Hightower Large CC XO1 Build

$3500 USD
For sale: 2017 Santa Cruz Hightower Large CC XO1 Build Condition: Excellent Notable upgrades: Rock Shox Monarch RC3 Shock (piggyback); NEXT 6C 35mm Carbon Bars (780mm) Absolutely immaculate Santa Cruz Large Carbon (CC) Hightower for sale. Color way is called “Carbon Mint” and in my opinion is Santa Cruz’s best color way they have ever produced. This is an excellent bike for someone looking for a super solid full carbon frame bike as their perfect “all 'rounder” bike at an affordable price. The Hightower is compatible with both 29” and 27.5+ wheels and is incredibly versatile. The bike weighs around 29 pounds. Wheels and tires have never been ridden as they were taken off of a new bike (also a Hightower) I have since purchased. I am the original owner and have taken extremely good care of this bike including frame tape application from the first day of ownership, and frame and drive train wipe down after every ride. Very few scratches / chips. I have many friends looking to get into mountain biking who are always asking about how to get a really nice mountain bike without spending $5+ thousand dollars. This is that bike. $3500 + shipping if applicable Components: Frame: Size Large Carbon CC (CC is Santa Cruz’s higher grade carbon frame) Fork: Rock Shox Pike (150mm) Shock: Rock Shox Monarch RC3 plus (upgrade from original shock) 135mm - three position lockout Seatpost: Rock Shox Reverb Stealth with 1X (under the bar) actuator Drivetrain: SRAM X01 Eagle 1x12 Brakes: Shimano XT (If SRAM preferred, I have a brand new set of CODE RSC brakes I will sell at a reasonable price - never ridden). Rotors: Shimano ICE tech 180mm / 180mm Cranks: SRAM X01 Carbon 175mm Chainring: SRAM X01 Eagle 30T Handlebar: NEXT 6C 35mm carbon riser bar Grips: Santa Cruz Palmdale Pedals: Generic Plastic Seat: WTB (never ridden) Wheels: 29” RaceFace ARC 30 (never ridden) Tires: Maxxis DHRII 2.4 WT (never ridden) Approximate weight: 29.5 lbs Selling as I have since purchased another bike.

The New Santa Cruz Nomad is Longer and Slacker Than Ever – First Ride
A few things that come to mind: (disclaimer, I own a Santa Cruz HighTower and a Pivot Firebird) Color way (both of them) are not attractive at all Even though there is a "fender" covering the rear shock, the stanchion looks very vulnerable to scratching - this along with how the lower linkage on SC bikes have a tendency to grit up / squeak could mean a lot of attention will be needed on the entire rear suspension (just a thought, zero proof of that) They had a year to out maneuver Pivot's Firebird - I don't think they achieved that with this bike, and the Firebird looks better hands down. I suppose this may be a good bike for current V3 nomad owners who feel they need more reach and a bit more travel, but those that aren't loyal to the SC brand have plenty of other choices.
