The Rux World Tour is back for 2018, travelling to more new zones with the SR Suntour Team! Episode 2 takes us to Southern France, where we explore some high alpine castles, the Black Hills, and the Evo Bike Park.

Coming off an incredible 2017, that included World Cup DH and World Championship podiums, another Rampage victory, and countless good times riding bikes, we couldn't be more excited to carry that momentum into 2018. The Rux gets a refined design for 2018, dropping some weight and adding an integrated fender. We continue to develop our fully sealed PCS (Piston Compensator System) cartridges while staying true to our Quick Service Product philosophy. We believe that durability and maintenance-in-mind design equates to “Ride More, Wrench Less.” The Rux continues to prove itself as one the most reliable and toughest DH and Freeride forks on the market. Join us as the shred trains and good times roll on!

This edition of the Rux World Tour includes many familiar faces along with a handful of radical French friends who show us their favourite home turf! Brett Tippie welcomed us to Les Gets, with a blast of his never-ending stoke, highfives, and a joke or two before having to part ways. Riders Carson Storch, Sam Reynolds, Mitch Chubey, Alex Fayolle, Vincent Pernin, Jeremy Stowards, Fabian Cousinie, Romain Baghe, Eliott Lapotre, Hugo Shoonheere, Maxime Danda, and Benoit Coulanges show us how it's done.

The focus of this trip was Southern France, which happens to be home to the young, but already renowned Evo Bike Park. Team riders Romain Baghe and Hugo Shoonheere led the way since they are the driving force behind the park, designing and building every trail with their crew. It was great to see all of the progress they've made over the year since our last visit. Their mission: to create a bike park built by riders for riders. The park is built to accommodate all levels of ability, but especially the highly skilled, as Evo has some of the biggest and gnarliest park lines in the world. Our train made sure to keep speed with Romain and Hugo, and they certainly kept us on our toes. Technical, committing, flowy, and incredibly well built, Evo was a wild good time!

As a part of our continued support of Evo Bike Park, we gladly helped dig, finalize, and inaugurate a new line, Chainsaw. And we were honoured to ride the first train down the line.

Building trail takes dedication, thoughtful design, and a ton of hard work. We couldn't be happier to have our name on this one!

Just down the road from the Evo Bike Park are the famous, Black Hills. This is a destination for all Freeriders in Europe, as they call it "the Utah of France." Our crew scrambled all around finding rad and intriguing lines everywhere. Freeriding is all about creativity, and zones like this allow each rider to interpret the terrain and line selection in their own unique way. We had a blast riding and cheering each other on in these Black Hills...

As we concluded our trip we took the time to fully appreciate where we were, jumped in some swimming holes and went out to experience the rich culture surrounding all of this great mountain biking. We've got big plans for 2018, so stayed tuned for the next stop on the Rux World Tour!
