Unless I missed something, Zone 5 did participate in the Series B funding round of Pocket Outdoor, but wasn’t even the lead fund on the investment. Characterizing Specialized as the “owner” of Pinkbike is a bit of a stretch.

@mikelevy: I’m not hating on the concept. I may be the only rider in existence that didn’t hate the Brain on my old 2010 epic. I’m just not sold on the 2 grand investment to forgo having to flip a blue lever on my trail bike.

The Best Clip-In Trail MTB Pedals for 2021 - Pinkbike Buyer's Guide
@SprSonik: careful with the Sidi Defenders. They have stitching/seems on the outside our the shoe right where you tend to come into contact with crap on the trail. They come apart pretty easily with regular trail use on techy trails. Maybe if you ride flow trails they hold up fine. The soles are great, but wish the uppers were more like the indestructible Dominators I went back to.
