First Look: Mondraker's F-Podium Brings Forward Geometry to XC Racing
I'm still going to hold out for trek to update their top fuel into something more progressive. I would also take the epic s-works evo over this bike any day...but I'm also a shorter rider.

Poll: Does Your Trail Bike Have a Weight Problem?
Sometimes when I start to wonder if a should pull out a second mortgage and start the arms race on my 31 pound trail rig, then I look down at the 5 extra pounds I could shed free of charge on my mid section and I'm like keep on a truckin brotha...

Bike Check: Joe Nation's Pole Stamina
@bcmanucd: yes agreed but these steep seat tube angles are designed for climbing so that 90 degree seat angle on a 20-30 degree incline puts the seat back to 60 to 70 degrees pushing your hips back behind your feet in relation to gravity. When you descend, in theory you would drop the seat out of your way. Peddling on flat ground would suck yes but these bikes are being designed to go up and down steeps.

Bike Check: Joe Nation's Pole Stamina
If the bad guy off terminator rode a bike it would be this one....why is no one doing a 90 degree seat tube angle? It would be closer to a natural squat position which would theoretically generate the most leg thrust.

Field Test: Scott Ransom
I dunno. I'm going to hold out for a sub 30 pound 60 degree head angle single crown 200mm travel 29er before I start getting excited.

Field Test: Yeti SB130
@PaperbackRider: I inserted my argument in the wrong area. My bad. I was basically agreeing with you and trying to defend yeti to someone else for not making a entry level build. I don't want cheap ass anything either.

Field Test: Yeti SB130
Am I the only one that thinks from an aesthetic standpoint this is one of the most gorgeous bikes ever created? Its like a work of art. It's up there with the mondraker foxy and the trek slash...but that's just my opinon

Field Test: Yeti SB130
@PaperbackRider: it doesn't exist because yeti prides themselves in being a high end bike company only which I respect. That have no desire to compete with YT or low end giant or specialized...and their sales don't seem to be hurting so kudos to them for being at the top end of the bike build spectrum
