Built for what I hoped would be my bike built with durability in mind, but it just didn't pan out the way I had hoped. n.b. I'm going to swap the tires to Thickslick 28c tires. The Gatorskins on there have sentimental value to me. This was hand-built and painted by Spicer Cycles in Indiana. This is not your run of the mill built-by-the-thousands bike. It's gorgeously made and has an incredible black with gold flake paint job on the frame. The fork is a solid black to accent the rest of the parts. It's left uncut and there's space to raise the stem as well as slam it for that aero fit. It fits me well with a height of 6' and a 34" inseam. It rides incredibly stable in the straights and dives into the turns. Sadly, my stable is way too full and has been for a while. I just purchased this but it just doesn't spark joy for me. It is no comment on the bike itself, just my personal tastes have changed more than I thought. This is my second bike from Spicer and can't recommend them enough.
