Cotic Announces New Flare Steel Trail Bike
I like the look of this but I'm way out of date on geometry. What is the advantage of long, low and slack? Is this going to descend like a dream but climb like a nightmare? I like going up to earn the down, but if the climb becomes a headache, the down will also suffer... Where do I find a balanced report on the pros and cons? I'm strangely drawn to this as it seems to tick boxes for me, but price counts so I'd hate to spend that and discover it doesn't work for me (if I can work out how to pay for it - but that is the case with any new bike irrespective of price). Ta.

Atherton Bikes Confirm Team Details & Show Full Bike For the First Time
"and their passion for preserving the environment which matches our own" Given how environmentally unfriendly carbon fibre is to make and dispose of, is that a sensible quote? Shoots down the Welsh start-up, does it not?

Athertons Launch Their Own Bike Company With Dragon's Den Investor
Sounds like excellent news...my only gripe will be the prices...(without knowing anything other than the press release)...they will be high and I suspect the initial 'range' will be small. Hopefully that will allow people to get built what they want (which rightly should cost more as it isn't mass-produced). Definitely method of creating a proper lastly legacy, hopefully it will be a huge success.

Madison Opens Online Shopping Platform to All UK Bike Shops
So you go to the Freewheel website, order something and where does it get sent? To the bike shop or to your house? If a bike shop, how do they get a cut? If direct to you, how does the shop benefit?

Pace Cycles Announces Details for The RC295 - Their First Carbon Full Suspension Bike
@Paceman: I stopped following them properly when they went to the far east for frames so looks like I've missed several full suspension designs!

Pace Cycles Announces Details for The RC295 - Their First Carbon Full Suspension Bike
@landscapeben: aye, stickers, look at the shape...if doing carbon, surely better to do full lowers, and if so, unlikely to be stickered up as normal Fox forks...

Pace Cycles Announces Details for The RC295 - Their First Carbon Full Suspension Bike
I'm talking mince, they have made some full suspension bikes about 10 years ago, so this isn't the second design...I forgot about the 400 series...
