![]() | Have you ever had the flu? It's a nasty business. Just when you're getting better, a friend will be struck down, then another, and before you know it, all your friends are sick. Contagious things usually suck, but not always. A few years ago I modified some mud tires with sheet metal screws. The tires allowed me to ride my bike all winter. My bike had adapted to a whole new set of conditions. All of a sudden, cold snaps and fresh pow were reasons to go riding! The idea spread like a disease. Now we have a serious crew for the winter trails. Chain up the truck, grab your bike, and come along on our winter shenanigans as we all get sick. - Matt Hunter |

To my surprise they survive tarmac better than I expected even though the grip is worse on tarmac than in snow and on ice of course.
I'm (mostly) kidding of course. I do agree with the no OVER running, especially pups, especially in the heat. My dog will run until his feet literally are bleeding if I let him. Dogs have to build up just like any other athletes, and are not likely to tell you they are hurting.
Similar to what I am thinking about the dog's thoughts: "There's got to be yummy food at the end of the path."
btw it's always astonishing for me to watch dogs keeping up the pace.

I don't care what you do on your rides but don't video the underground activities!
as sponsored riders these guys need to realize what they show in their videos will be repeated by the kids who think they are cool.
I'm sick of everyone having to be protected from everything. We've pushed natural selection so far back we're just becoming dumber..and we'll keep it up until we'll all be dumb enough to make natural selection do its job again!
