It's so rare that anyone captures the true raw emotion experienced when a rider scores their first world level podium, let alone at home and with a rider not in the group that automatically expect to be there. You've conveyed a whole journey here in a few minutes and with no words. Amazing work, hats off to you and massive congrats to Reece!
Brilliant, love that you can almost feel the emotions running through him, and his team.
Much MUCH rather see this kind of reaction then gleaming pride and ego!
Fantastic film.. just look at his little face!!! Talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve.. superb ride, totally genuine emotion captured by the editor of this little film. More of this kind of stuff please!
This video genuinely puts a smile on my face from ear to ear. First Scot to EVER step on a World Cup podium (Ruairidh Cunningham's win was at World Champs). Such pride to see the Saltire flying high, even more so at Fort William. Well done Reece, You are the pride of an entire nation! May this amazing performance carry on for the rest of your career!
@E9G: Cheers for the correction man! From what i had read it seemed like he was the first ever, however the first in 15 years and first at Fort Bill is still a hell of an achievement!!
@E9G: I just had a dig through his results, Apparently he got 4th in 2003 and Grouse Mountain in Canada. Unsure if they had 5-man podiums back in the day!
@E9G: They did. Stu actually finished 5th, then was upgraded to 4th after Houseman (the original winner) got DQ'd on a doping charge for smoking POT. Whatever, this was a sick ride by Reece and a mint wee edit by Max that shows what racing is all about!
Spent almost as much time people watching him in the hotseat on sunday as I did the racing. His expressions were a picture, you could have made an edit of just that. Great day, great weather, great crowd, great ride by the lad. Class effort
It was awesome. The atmosphere was amazing, just seeing him sitting there smiling in P1, watching rider after rider come down and not beat his time was so good. Taking nothing away from Amaurys win, as it was a great winning run, the local boy did his home turf immensely proud indeed.Loved it, and I'm English ffs!
This video is a piece of art. Somehow he reminded me minaar. Hair combed, gentleman looking and educated. Legit boy. Congratulations to him and his friends!!!!
Absolutely Freak'in Awesome! Gr8 video congratulations, I know you're gonna be there a lot more but for now enjoy yourself, just not too much & good luck @ Leogang
It was the first Scottish podium at Fort William in Senior (Elite) catagory, and the equaled the best result ever for a Scottish rider in Senior (Elite) at World Cup (joint with Stu Thompson who makes the Danny McAskill vids I believe...)
