More Downhill Bikes & Bits From Val di Sole World Championships 2021
@stinkball: One thing to know if you are having a hard time finding them is that they are totally symmetrical. The only difference between a left and right is the length of hose they come with. So if you can only find 2 lefts or 2 rights you are in business. Check ebay

The Hayes Dominion A4s blow away my old TRP Quadiems. I'm surprised more people don't run them.

The Importance of Handlebar Height & Why It's Often Overlooked
@bigbrett: Deity Racepoint are 38mm rise (810mm wide), but if you have enough steer tube to spacer up they could work for you. Or get some of those direct mount spacers like minaar uses for a dual crown. I ride them on my DH. I'm guessing there are strength/flex issues if you go much higher than this on a wide bar without that center brace part. Edit: nm, apparently protaper has a 76mm rise/810mm bar.

First Look: The All New YT Capra Covers Both 29" and Mixed Wheeled Platforms
@eugenux: could be :) I can't keep up with all the new products lately. I would say defintely go for the top end model on your shock since it's supporting more weight than your fork on average and will have a bigger impact on ride quality. Any version fox fork is going to be very smooth though.

First Look: The All New YT Capra Covers Both 29" and Mixed Wheeled Platforms
@AAAAAHHH: My 40 came with a Fit4 damper (lsc, rebound) and the latest 40 damper is the Grip 2 (lsc, hsc, lsr, hsr)with VVC which is much different. I could buy a new grip2 damper for 400 and and drop it into the fork to make it a factory fork sans kashima, so that's cool. I don't know what the dampers are called on the float x2, but the performance version only came with low speed comp and rebound. Factory has the high speed settings also. The high speed comp helps with mid stroke support, but I think you are getting a higher quality damper as well. My experience with fox is on a DH bike though. It might not be as much as of a problem on lower speed trails. You have to run higher pressures with the crappy dampers so that the fork/shock isn't diving into it's travel so easily. It'll make you fast, but not comfortable.
