Huge news for Miranda Miller. Shs is definitely a threat and someone to watch for the top spot.

Interesting...That fork has the same exact chassis as the RV1 from X-Fusion. I bet Ohlins wasn't ready to release a fork or simply didn't wanted them to ride on Boxxer's or 40's chassis. No mentions on the brakes too. These are Formula's Cura brakes. It looks like a "We're gonna pay for our Sram drivetrain parts" deal like Gwin!

The ohlins is supposed to be very heavy
  • 4 0
I was curious about the brakes as well. Also noticed they are still on X01 rear mech it looked like, but the all the focus of the image was on the Ceramicspeed bearings and pulley wheels. I guess if you stop running RockShox SRAM pulls their full support. Hmmm.
  • 2 0
@basmajor @VwHarman Well - looks like it's not too heavy. Check out the equipment they have strapped on that www.instagram.com/p/BPGJIdRB32r/?taken-by=factory_jackson&hl=en
  • 31 0
That's so rad Miranda! Go git it!
  • 26 0
funny how little mention of drivetrain there was.
  • 23 2
 The Ohlins fork is just...kinda...plain...?
  • 21 1
The day that classic grey anodizing broke the internet.
  • 8 0
Looks like a rv1 minus leg guards with ohlins damper.....
  • 23 1
And all of sudden everyone starts feeling okay with their regular grey anodized stanchions on cheaper forks.
  • 1 0
The inverted one looked well better
  • 1 0
Who agrees would look killer if they styled same as their rxf 34 fork www.ohlins.com/product/rxf-34-fork/and all black stanchions with them decals. Not saying quite as good as the inverted but certainly giving it a good run for its money looks wise
  • 23 2
Miranda kinda reminds me of Stevie
  • 18 0
Great to see Millertime on a big squad. Right on!
  • 13 2
so, what youre saying is the team is Finn, Loic and Miranda? Glad to see that summarized for us.
  • 6 1
Congrats MM! Hard work and talent gets you a sweet ride and awesome opportunity.

With Finn and MM, that sort of makes Specialized Gravity mountain biking's Team Canada (plus Loic)!
  • 11 1
Hopefully Atherton will get some more competition this year, I think Thanee is going to be her biggest threat though
  • 13 2
 Supporting Women racing. Top marks!
  • 12 3
Did ohlins buy up all of rock shox old 2010 fork stantions
  • 6 0
No they bought the old RV1s. lol
  • 8 1
Miranda Miller + Team support = a Canadian female podium contender @ every race.

Congrats Miranda--so pumped to see your perseverance pay off.
  • 7 1
I find it interesting that they mentioned Shawn Palmer in their quote. It's just seems kind of odd to mention someone who is very involved in another team.
  • 4 1
You feel palmer may be involved in this in the future?

Wouldn't be the first time
  • 2 0
@jordanchaos: Intense dumped Lopes. Maybe they dumped Palmer too. I think they are making a full-on investment in active racing.
  • 9 1
you know fox head is so stoked to get finn back.
  • 7 0
I hope those bland 'Ohlins' forks get replaced with the nice Gold USD ones....
  • 4 0
Good for Spec. in supportingvtop level women. Can only better the sport. Hopefully one day this will be the sport that breaks the sex barriers of all the big sports. There is no doubt that in order to DH race at this level you are a serious athlete. The level of conditioning, dedication, and risk necessary to achieve top levels in this sport is second to none. Anyone who races DH at Worlds level is truly bad ass. There's not a participant of any other sport that can deny that. The women race the exact same courses as the men and are just as badass. Props to Miranda, Tracy, Mannon, Tahnee, Rachel, and all the rest of you tough, beautiful, bad ass women! Go go go and give em hell!!

 Pumped for Miranda Miller!

On a more light hearted note... f*ck they better hope the boys have as a good of a season they had last year on the same bikes with new suspension or there is gonna be lots of egg on faces.

Can the WC season just start now??
  • 8 1
 yea Miranda!
  • 4 0
The all black version of the fork, shown in a coupla photos, looks stealth.
  • 1 0
it looks way better than the grey one, but I think it is a telemetry fork so who knows if we see it at the world cups or not!
  • 3 0
this is going to spice up the specialized gravity team having ohlins on bored and great to see another lady on the world cup calendar go miranda
  • 4 0
So stoked for you Mir. You are one of the hardest working athletes around. You totally deserve this.
  • 2 0
big S just to corporate for me to buy any of there stuff, but good on them for finally realising they need to support the ladies I think ohlins development should benefit from this as well
  • 1 0
A shame for Sixsixone. Loic and Finn were heavily featured in their 2017 catalog but it already looks dated now that they moved to Fox. No one is to blame, but it must suck sometimes to be a marketing manager in this industry.
  • 4 3
Amazing! With a background of motocross, where Öhlins is superior, it is great news to hear that the best bicycle company (in my opinion) Specialized has another season with them.
  • 1 0
It seems like the Specialized Enduro Team made the switch to Ohlins as well, according to Jared Graves' and Curtis Keenes Instagram. Plus Graves is running Magura MT7 brakes on his Stumpjumper.
  • 3 0
Boo ya! Stoked for Mir. Also, non narrow wide pulley for sram der? yes please!
  • 1 0
Look again, NW top and bottom..
  • 4 0
Congratulations, Miranda, best of luck to you in 2017!
