SRAM Announces Whistler Opening Weekend Dual Slalom Race & Season Opener Party

It's been a long, cold winter... Join SRAM in celebrating the opening of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park for the 2019 season. We'll be kicking off the weekend with the inaugural SRAM Dual Slalom Race, followed by the RockShox Season Opener party at the GLC. The SRAM race truck will be on hand providing support, while ZIPP will have 3ZERO MOTO Wheels available for demo throughout the weekend. See you there!




RockShox Season Opener Party at the GLC
Saturday, 18 May 2019 from 7:00 PM until Late

Help us ring in the new season with the official season opener party at the GLC. Awards and apres for the SRAM Dual Slalom begin at 7:00 PM, with Whistler legend DJ J to the H coming on at 10:00 PM.

If you didn't win the race, you can still win the party...

Saturday, 18 May 2019 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

New for 2019, Whistler Blackcomb will be kicking off the opening weekend of the Bike Park with an old school Dual Slalom brought to you by SRAM. Race your friends head-to-head through berms, flat turns, rollers and more in a one-off course at the base of Whistler, followed by awards & apres at the GLC. The only way to ride it is to race it!

Entry fees are just $10, with racing starting at noon. Registration/Plate pick up will be held at the Bike School Hut at the bottom of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, morning of the event.

On the way to the lifts, be sure to stop by the SRAM Race Truck for helpful service and professional RockShox suspension soft tuning and set-up – all weekend long.
