While it's cool and damp in most parts of the country, enjoy a few minutes of Kirt Voreis doing Kirt Voreis things on South Mountain in Arizona while we all wait for winter to end.

Ah man, for the past 10 years I've travelled out on holiday to Phoenix around this time of the year for winter sun riding, and South Mountain is one of my favourite places to go. Gutted can't make it this year thanks to the virus, but seeing this definitely brings a smile to my face! Now, out to the sloppy UK trails....

Your next trip here come out to Hawes. We've got several miles of new trail. Nothing as rocky as SoMo but workin' on flow, tech, jumps & drops.

I live in Arizona, and I would kill to ride some of those sloppy UK trails

@MattyBoyR6: Hawes is Hawesome. Seriously, I was blown away the first time I was out there.

@MattyBoyR6: That's been my go to recently, I'm about in the middle of SOMO, Mcdowell and Hawes but Hawes is by far the most fun with all the new builds

@pkrides: or even just damp or moist trails.

@pkrides: No you wouldn't, you just think you miss the rain and mud, once you're riding it all the time you'll realize desert riding is where it's at.

The funny thing about riding in wet climes, when it's good it's really good, but "good" is seasonal, so when it's bad it's really bad, whereas in the desert it's good all the time.

@azfreeride: come on out and join us for a dig day. We're going to be starting at the top of the next trail to open Sat the 13th or Sun 14th. Ride up to the work spot. If you're true to your name you can help spot some jibs and drops along the way.
Go to Hawes Trail Alliance to get signed up on their email list for upcoming days or I'll try to message you on here or follow on the facebook.

@MattyBoyR6: Are the Hawes trails just North East of Mesa? Will definitely head that way when next out there.

@bigtim: Yes sir. New trails high ridge & iron goat are open and a blast. Best stuff yet to come in red mountain rampage and the reroute of goat trail.

@k-n-i-x-o-n: don't let Red Mountain Rampage trail trick you into thinking it has features or drops or gaps. Going to be a flow trail.
Look for Boulder Dash to get the hand built treatment and silliness.

I know PB commenters love to hate on Niner, but that RIP is a very nice bike.

If you've ever ridden geronimo then you know how hard it is to look smooth in that chunk. He makes it look so easy.

Sick edit. Reminds me of 90's BMX and skate videos, even includes the SoCal sounding punk rock track.
