Steel City Media and Creative Concept bring you the much anticipated new feature film Gamble, uniting some of downhill mountain bike racing's most talented and charismatic riders and releasing them from the confines of the tape.
It's been one hell of a journey, but we're stoked to finally release this thing into the wild to hopefully inspire you all to grab your bike, head outside and keep things loud, fast and fun.
Narrated by the infamous Alan Ford from
Snatch and
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, the top dogs of downhill have been united around the table and they ain’t here to mess about.
Filmed across the World in locations such as Argentina, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa and featuring a powerhouse lineup including Greg Minnaar, Josh Bryceland, Steve Peat, Loic Bruni and more, this mob of reprobates are not afraid to make some noise.
With the chips well and truly on the table, get ready to go all in with raw speed, a heavy hitting soundtrack and virgin locations. Gamble is tailored for madness.

Good:
+ Locations
+ Riders
+ Amount of Story
+ Length
+ Equipment
+ All your drone clips are awesome
+ Digital Download + Price (bought it on Vimeo)
Bad:
- Extrem amount of cuts between kind of random clips or not showing a clip long enough (you feel like they wanted to include every clip they ever filmed. to achieve that they cut insanely fast between good clips, bad clips and complete garbage)
- Camera work (Only the most obvious ones that are used very often and are very annoying: 1. Generally far to close on the rider+bike resulting in riding out of the screen. 2. Zooming into something. 3. Moving the camera too fast.)
Conclusion:
This movie could've been so much better! You filmed so much, that there are many good clips and many bad ones. Please rerelease this movie edited better.
It shows the sport as it is, not in some fake epic way and it really makes me stoked to ride, stoked as f*ck.
It's a DNS
Deathgrip was better, Motive was better, Builder or Arrival too. There are some options. Not only Gamble and Life Cycles. And Ride Yor F#*king Bike was for Shredders, to be honest.
LFMAO!!!
Just an advice, I wouldn´t use this flat wide curve as miniature/feature photo.
See how much cooler riding looks when its not slow mo?
Riders are riding or what?
