Too Long? Too Slack? Not Enough? – Pinkbike Poll
Absolutely love my 2016 Dune XR, it is long, and takes a bit of getting used to, but once you have sussed how to handle it, it's fast and stable and capable of attacking anything full gas..... in fact i'm so happy with the 'forward geometry' i have just built a Factor XR for everyday riding....

2018 Specialized Turbo Levo FSR Carbon - First Look
@BenPea: I'm actually Devonian, but i get your point... My girlfriend had a house near to Skegness, and i visited only the once, i have never seen so many mobility scooters being driven by people in their mid-twenties... massively overweight, with a fag in one hand, and a bag of chips in the other.... 'it's my glands' would be the common retort.... These e-bikes just remind me of this..... Today i was with a group of riders of whom many could not be described as fit, but they gave it their best, some pushed up climbs, others took 10 minutes to get their breath.. but to a man (and woman) they finished, proud of their achievement, glowing from the exertion, and deserving of a beer... Return to the UK ? nah mate, to much to do here :-)

I'm 59, still peddling up hills.. maybe not the fastest, but i'll give it my all... and the down ? the reward for the effort... E-bikes? cover them with big rocks after burning them with fire !!!

XC World Cup Round 4, Lenzerheide - Course Preview With Tracy Moseley
Going to be a busy weekend, the DH looks sick, and the XCO is a must watch... Schurter is a bloody machine, with skills to match, and this course is going to suit him, if he can keep his wheels on the ground for long enough #whipforthewin

@vinay: The availability of M8000 2x chainrings because of the crank configuration is very limited at the moment, even CR do not stock them, i have searched for M7000 and found a similar problem... Italy and Germany seem to have stock, but the delivery costs are prohibitive... ah well, will keep looking.

@clarky78: I already run XT 1 x 11, but there is no denying that the top end is lost.. My enduro has a 34 front ring, and an expander (46t) on the cassette, not to much of a problem in the forest so will not be changing.. i am in the middle of an XC build and still want M8000, but know that i will be spinning out on road sections so 26-36 seems an option... the other is to look at the 50t expander on XT with a 36t chainring.... Not committed as i have not bought the groupset yet, but it will be XT M8000....
