CCF logging in whistler

For the non-park enjoyers who ride in Whistler:

The Cheakamus Community Forest (CCF) has recently revealed its plans for the next 5 years or so:
https://www.cheakamuscommunityforest.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/2023-Five-Year-Development-Plan-Overview-Map.pdf

You can see on the map that many of the areas it plans to extensively log are either:
a) old growth
b) existing (and loved) mountain bike trails in the valley

Many of these are scheduled to be logged either this coming year, though some not till 2026.
Other than affecting some of Whistler's little remaining old growth, affected trails include:

High Side, See Colours and Puke, Java Time, After Hours, It's Bizness Time, AM/PM, Salsa Verde, Roca Verde, Southern Accents, the future Sproatt-Cheakamus descent trail, (and possibly more I cannot mention).

Also planned to be affected (though, I believe by fire-thinning-and-logging as opposed to just-logging): Out There, Azrael, A River Runs Through It, and the entirety of the Bush Doctor-High Society-Working Class-Three Birds area.

Riding a trail through a forest that has been logged tends to be a lot less fun than riding a trail through a forest that has not been. If you dislike the idea of this, then, to voice your opposition to this logging, especially the Callaghan blocks P03, P04, and P05, (affecting Bizness Time, etc...) then complete this form they've provided:

Thank you.
