First Look: Specialized Kenevo SL 2 with SL 1.2 Motor
@TheLongMan: This is a very valid point. In Arizona there are quite a few hike-a-bike situations as most trails are dual-purpose trails. There has been countless situations where I'm pushing, lugging, or carrying my bike up unrideable sections, typically over huge rocks. E-bikes would be a nightmare in these situations. Maybe this is why I mainly see ebikes on easier, smoother trails where you can really stretch the legs and go fast.

UCI Announces 2024 World Cup Calendar
As all the Brits complain about Brendog being robbed at Rampage, yet North Americans are always robbed when it comes to European sports and involvement. Get used to it. Check out the stats: https://www.maximizemarketresearch.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/mountain-bike-market-64a519567c79b.webp Over half of the global MTB market comes from the US. So being “fair and equitable”, shouldn’t over half of the UCI rounds be in North America? Oh wait…UCI is based in Europe. The president Lapparrient is French and the only VP that has a semblance of MTB experience Katerina Nash, is XC focused from the CZE. And y’all want to complain about biases lol.

Jill Kintner & Mitch Ropelato Win the 2023 North American Enduro Cup
Is this a one off race, or like the World Champs for a series? I’ll say NA racing is not easy to follow and seems fragmented. Maybe that’s why the winner here finished 82nd in EWS last season.

Review: Deviate Highlander 2 - A Better Sequel
@Mtbdialed: Maybe its growing up on rigids and hardtails with terrible suspension, but I've noticed I tend to prefer a more supportive and stiffer setup than newer riders who exclusively have ridden modern full squish. Nothing like bombing rigid 26ers through rock gardens to heighten the senses.

Fox Racing Enters Footwear Market With 3 New Shoes
@bonkmasterflex: Not only repairable but you can tighten laces up in different zones according to your foot sizing. For example I have high volume but narrow feet, so I need it real snug around the forefoot, but looser up by the ankles. Only laces can achieve such subtle nuances.

@Monkeyass: It's incredible that people pay these prices when you have companies like Guerrilla Gravity with essentially equivalent builds that sell between 4-5K. https://ridegg.com/collections/outlet-bikes

Field Test: 2023 Yeti SB140 - The Traction Finder
I’d disagree. Factory downhill and factory motocross riders are generally riding tweaked versions of the top spec models with the most custom work done on suspension. Also motorcycle brands have been offering essentially WSBK road legal versions over the recent years. You can find the KTM “factory Edition” 450 for 10-11K.
