@AaGro: my comment was not a criticism in anyway. Just an observation. Americans are far more patriotic than every other nation so its quite astounding that there are so few representing... or wanting to. Anyway the Brits have been at the top for a while now, its time we let someone else have a go ;)

I guess that's because Gwin was your only contender, if the US invested more in its riders like the rest of the world it would be more exciting for you. Hell you've got a whole mass of potential that goes untapped... Gwin's done so well partly due to guys like Martin Whitely investing in his amazing talent.

The track was not great to watch but the race was.... Just like Nascar. The tracks are super shit, but the racing (and crashes) make it interesting.

BBC red button was my first choice this morning, but it wouldn't load. So RedBull got my view

doubleheader doesn't go from 2000 either.... the closest trail to 2000 once you've descended through 1950 and a bit of route 66 is VR5

@Owenb123: the lobsters only get you up to Vallandry (not Arc2000) and there's several trails that will get you to the valley floor from there. Not sure where you're thinking sorry

You can't do Jacksons into Axewound. :) Axewound is just a variation of the first section form the hut and all roads lead in to Jacksons from there.

Searching for Singletrack in the Savoie Valley
@Chadimac22: Best thing to do is hire a guide. There are some really good guys there and its well worth the money... I've seen so many people that come over here and think they can find all the good stuff by themselves, but it just does not work. There's too many hidden gems to find and as good as Jacksons/Axewound are there's a whole load more on offer. Plus this year someone has decided to sign Jacksons as a walkers trail from the Vernette's meadow so you'll often meet people coming up it now.
