MTB on a Budget: Where to Spend & Where to Save on Bike Parts
Don‘t go for those Hunt Wheels! I dented and broke both rims in pretty mellow terrain on my first ride. Never happened to me before even with way lighter rims.
It‘s not an outlier also. Buddy of mine is only three rides in on the same wheels and the back wheel is already broken.
All I got offered from Hunt was „crash replacement“, which doesn’t help when the rims are that bad from the start...

Local Flavours: The Complete Guide to Riding in Sölden, Austria
I was in Sölden last week and I can also second the comments about Sölden not being the greatest MTB destination. The bikepark just feels forced into the mountain and riding the trails is mainly killing vertical with an incredible amount of berms. The problem is, the fun parts between the berms are missing in most places. So it's just berm, berm, berm, berm, ... and half way down I really started to get annoyed. The surrounding is awesome (for doing hikes and so on), but I wouldn't go there again for riding my bike...
