This Is New Zealand - New Zealand mountain biking film.
The crew from This Is New Zealand have been very busy over the past few months, finishing off 4 rider sections for the up and coming film. The work load is only increasing though with the time frame closing in fast.
Rider previews have been released for the finished riders, The first shoot was with Justin Leov in Christchurch. Filming his section is not yet complete- it will be finished later in the year.
From there we flew to Nelson to shoot Kieran Bennett and Reuben Olorenshaw. Filming was very busy due to the tight time frame, but we managed to get a lot of great shots in.

We then flew straight to Napier to film Madeline Taylor, once again a successful trip:
The crew then had a short rest before meeting up with George Brannigan in Christchurch. Filming was not only done locally, we also travelled to Mt Hutt to get some more unique shots. Filming with George will once again be finished off later in the year.

Editing has begun recently, puttign together rough cuts and organising the soundtrack has been taking up a lot of time but it is well worth the effort. The next step will be to shoot Matt Walker in Rotorua, then Matt Scoles in Alexandra.
Towards the end of the year we will be shooting Brook Macdonald, Sam Blenkinsop and finishing the other rider's sections.

Even though I hate new zealeanders (sport wise way I was raised) I've got to say I'm pretty pumped to see this. With the way these teaser things are coming out looks like maybe it could be like 3 minute gaps. Will it be out on DVD in Australia?

Hey, we are filming in Rotorua, Napier, Wanganui and Wellington. So there will be plenty! We are heading up to Rotorua on the 25th of June to film the next section with Matt Walker

The film will be finished either late this year or very early next year. We are aiming for December so if all goes well it will be out before the National Series
