Review: The 2019 Canyon Neuron CF 9.0 is Conservative Yet Quick
I've done 5 rides on my new Neuron CF 9.0 and I love it. I'm 6'1" and 185lbs. My rides are typically in the 1.5 - 2.5 hour range with lots of climbing. My previous bike was an aluminum Niner Jet 9 with some carbon components and the bikes weigh about the same. Technically, the Niner was an XC frame, and while I do like to do longer mountain bike races once in awhile, I wanted something with more suspension and a dropper seat post. It's the perfect bike. It climbs well and the descents that I use to endure are now so much fun. I'm probably the last guy to get a dropper post, but wow, the ability to get the seat out of the way makes the bike seem half it's size. Cornering and descending are just a blast! It's an incredible value too. Getting carbon wheels on a bike like this with all of it's great spec for under $4500 is a deal.
