Performance to Close All Remaining Stores, Over 95 ASE Employees Laid Off
I bought one of their mountain bikes in 1992 in Sacramento. Was my first. The store had just recently opened. Was an incredible sale price at the time for I believe the 1991 model. Was a so-so metal frame but had top components at the time. Had the second generation Rock Shox fork and the high end Suntour group-with grease ports for the hubs. Also remember taking it on my very first official downhill by riding up the gondola at Squaw Valley in Lake Tahoe. Not a pleasant experience. The only other guy in the gondola besides me and my friend had the very first Rock Shox release fork. The bike actually got stolen fairly soon after. Was only in a Performance store a handful of times since. Goodbye Performance.

Check Out: 8 Mountain Bike Helmets Under $100
@acrowe: Yes always nice to have 'third party' research. Can check out this link to a Virginia Tech study- https://vtnews.vt.edu/articles/2018/06/ictas-bikehelmetratings.html . Bummer is that the models change so much year to year these studies seem out of date as soon as they are initiated. They did give kudos to MIPS though. Didn't test a sweaty 'do rag' on the head that sometimes comes up with comments on MIPS.

Everesting Queenstown's Skyline Bike Park
I love Ben's smile. Yes, I am amazed at the feat/challenge of it, especially since I also ride a Sentinel(couldn't be happier with it). But nice to remember the joy as a Human Being in the midst of so much Human Doing.

Video: Suspension Setup 101 With a ShockWiz
Just figured out I have too much RAD. Offset trail is on not off. My brain is slower than Live Valve. I have compression envy, am coiled over, but luckily did not Wiz in my state of Shock. It all feels good though as I no longer Strava to try to keep up with all the dentists.

Video: Something Different From Award-Winning MTB Film 'Till the Last Breath'
Wonderful film. Loved it. Feeling the joy of what we do in riding trails and in being the mysterious master of life in the moment. Until we must let go....

I would have riders strap on a backpack with a kilo. Would make you go faster, especially with all the people grabbing. Would love to see Missy Giove drop in. (joke- I love her). Anyways, when in Colombia....

Pretty cool having this in the middle of a chaotic city. Cause we all know if back flip happens in the middle of a forest, did it really happen?
