Joe Breeden is a 16 year old rider from Mid Wales. He’s just finished his first full season racing and managed to come away with not only second overall in the UK National Downhill Series (BDS), he also won the Welsh Championships, all in the youth category.
It’s easy to see how passionate Joe is about downhill and he clearly has the natural ability to go far alongside the drive and motivation to train and get faster. When Joe rides he’s so smooth and composed that sometimes it’s hard to believe he’s going as fast as he is which, just looking at his race times, is quick. For 2016 he's hoping to get a place on a UCI trade team and race as many World Cups as he can as well as the British downhill Series (BDS) for his first year in the junior category. Joe is one of the nicest guys about and is definitely a rider to look out for next year!
