This weekend the European Enduro Series kicks off in beautiful Punta Ala, Italy. In warm and sunny weather, today was the first mandatory training and the prologue for tomorrow´s race. A broad variety of shredders competed in the prologue and they have all one opinion about this stage – suffering, intense and you have to pedal all the way. "In some parts more Cross Country than Enduro," said James Shirley (GBR) in the interview. Ines Thoma (GER) and Michal Prokop (CZE) won the Women’s and Men’s Elite category.

The riders are in pretty good mood and are looking forward to riding their bikes on the four challenging stages tomorrow. At 9am the race starts and by 3pm the winners will be honoured. The international starter list and the challenging stages are going to promise an atmospheric and thrilling race tomorrow.
