The Trans-Cascadia video team were up late putting together this sweet edit to showcase day one of the event. Racers were stoked to not only be riding incredible trails and crazy long descents, they were also happy to be river jumping and eating some of the finest gourmet food the backcountry has seen!

 Looks like another event similar to the BCBR format, and that's a good thing!

 $2k+ entry fee tho...

 They should offer a local resident discount. Most of the riders at these events aren't local, and half of those are sponsored riders. I understand they are in it t make money, but these trails and events should be enjoyed by locals, not just Californian that come north and make OR worse. Ok, that be a bit harsh, but I wish there were local riders competing, not just building the trails.
