Maxiavalanche Cervinia - Official Movie
The weather conditions were absolutely perfect for the 13th edition of the Maxiavalanche Europe Cup in Cervinia, Italy.
300 riders from 17 different nations came to enjoy the amazing Bike Park of Cervinia and take part in the crazy Maxiavalanche, DH Marathon with a Mass Start on the Plateau Rosa Glacier at 3500m high.
The Maxiavalanche race program is quite similar with the one of the Megavalanche, with a qualifying run on Saturday to determine your starting group and line position for the two races runs on Sunday.
Cervinia is to be found in the Aosta Valley, north Italy (4h30 drive from Alpe d'Huez), and has a wide range of summer activities, with a great Bike Park and also a glacier on which you can ski all summer long! Not to mention that the Italian hospitality and food is worth the trip itself.

It's a beautiful landscape :-) I'd like to ride there in near future. I do hope the trails are in a better shape now then after the race %-( everything has been slided away by pulling the breakes all the time :-(
