@BitsNBobs: what you and many others doesn’t seem to understand is how sponsorship works. They are not your employers, you are just another billboard they place marketing budget into.
And, if said billboard is unattractive, due to a stripclub being built under it, or that you are an idiot who doesn’t understand that sexism á la the 90’s doesn’t matter.
The second you become unattractive, you are useless to the brand doing the advertising.
So, the ”punishment” is extremely proportional to what happened. And an athlete that doesn’t understand this simple truth is not cut out for being a paid athlete.

And yea, Volvo is owned by Geely as well.

It’s just a $700 difference, so what were you expecting? What do you think the carbon frame with factory, i9 cf, xx t-type etc etc should cost?
Or are you just mad that the alu->cf upgrade isn’t the usual $1500 as with other brands?

Depends on which suv and your height I would say. Had it on Macan, Cayenne and my current Enyaq and that works even if it is more cumbersome (I’m 180cm tall).

No issues for me. Used on both metal and glass roof.
I always keep water and a clean towel which I use before mounting though.
Just make sure there’s no dirt under it and you’re fine as it won’t move at all once you create the vacuum.
